I recently had some tailoring work done by a local seamstress. I used this seamstress shop on the recommendation of a colleague. Unfortunately, I do not have much good to say about this shop. From not returning phone calls, to charging significantly more than quoted to slopping tailoring.
It wasn't just me, it was multiple people that have expressed disatisfaction with this shop. Uneven hems (one side longer than the other), suit jacket that was too large when going in and is now too small?!? - very sloppy work.
So, I was on a quest - a quest to find a truly excellent seamstress. I am happy to say I found one. I send many thanks to Sandra at Sandra Kay's. She knew the right person for me and made the connection for me.
My advice - call Sandra for a recommendation.

Hi Christina - Wow, what a horror story! Very nice of you not to say the name of the bad shop in print, but to give the people of Coeur d Alene a resource.
Nicely done!
Just the other day I was wondering about finding a good tailor. Thanks for the recommendation of Sandra Kay's. It's comforting to be able to avoid a bad experience. Don't you wonder how someone can stay in business when they provide such horrible service?
Marlene - I was sorely tempted to SHOUT the name, it the experience was that bad by multiple people.
Janna - uh hum :) We need to put it on your calendar FIRST and make it a priority :) it will definitely help you in your business - it's really helped with mine. :D
Christina--Good service goes along way in any business...Word of mouth (or blog) will help Sandra K go far too!
Definitely! Nice to see you Teri!!
